Cracked: The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Experienced A Drop

It is commonly heard that the Xperia Z series always cracked when it fell. However, how serious can it be when it's cracked? Will it still be able to function normally? Let me share my experience of having my Z5 Premium dropped. First of all, it is certainly wise to say that everything that drop will certainly breaks. As for me, I dropped it and walaa, it happens in seconds and all you are able to see are cracked glass. The glass is still attached but the crack is visible. Fortunately for me, it dropped while its back facing the ground. The only sad thing is hat it dropped on uneven ground, which was the very main factor in its wrecked. Surprisingly, at first glance, the cracked turns out more like a beautiful design that was crafted on it.

As the back of the phone cracked, that doesn't leave out the front too. Just a line of crack can cause the upper panel of the screen to be insensitive. As for now, I can't slide the notification panel down while holding it vertically. The thought of unable to slide the notification panel down never comes to mind and when it happens, I never thought that I would be bounded by it. The feature like scrolling down to turn the WiFi, Bluetooth and mobile data on can't be used.

Aside from that, another major problem that was due from the insensitive upper screen panel is the inability to use some of the camera settings when taking photos.. For this reason, I can no longer take selfies as the camera switching button located on the upper-right of the screen panel can't be pressed. Since most of the third party apps placed their camera setting such as the exposure setting on the upper-right of the screen panel, I am also restricted from using those features. 

From this experience, I've learned a lesson, which is to buy a protective case to protect the phone as accidents always happen out of our expectation, be it time or place.
